A Typical Day?

Gustavo

If it’s possible to say we have had a typical day only after just five days together, the last two have been just that. You have enjoyed making tortillas with Mama, preparing meals, going to the pulperia, locking the door, counting to ten in English as you go up and down the stairs, playing with Play-Doh, cutting sandilla (watermelon), counting coins, sweeping, washing the dishes (your favorite), eating every two hours, looking at all the houses and buildings from the terrace, among other things.

Snuggling would be another favorite activity.

But this afternoon was unusual. In fact, we could say it was unlike any other for all of us. Today we attended a meeting at IHNFA where we signed the official documents declaring your adoption as official. So this is a day that is anything but typical.

Cutting watermelon. The tongue definitely confirms you are a Kersey.

Next we wait. After seven years, what's a few more weeks?
